I am Julián Martínez.

Josie is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles, CA. She started out as an aspiring game developer at UF Digital Worlds, allowing the large consumption of video games and animation from a young age to further her storytelling abilities.  However, through student club work, she naturally gravitated back to storytelling with the camera. Alongside her friends, Josie has directed three short films, her proudest work being, “if i ever see you again.”

 

As she aims for the film and television industry, Josie has an enormous love for music and live performance, and is simultaneously pursuing to become a director within the music industry. She currently works as a photographer for Get Some Magazine and is the Co-Creative Director/Editor for magSCENE. Whether it be a music video or a film, Josie works to tell honest stories that breathe life back into the audience - the same way other works of art have breathed life into her.
